Founded in 1988, Laoshe Teahouse is located southwest of Tiananmen Square, adjacent to the historic Dashilan commercial street. Named after the renowned artist Lao She and his famous play 'Teahouse,' it spans over 3,300 square meters, integrating Beijing folk culture, tea culture, opera culture, and culinary traditions.
Laoshe Teahouse has welcomed over 70 foreign heads of state including former U.S. President George H.W.
